About Me

Hey!

My name is Taylor DeClement. As I write this, I am currently a senior at Arcadia University, working towards my undergrad English degree with a certification in Secondary Education.

I am starting this little blog to keep all my resources in one place. In my undergrad process, I always felt there was a lack of young voices on the internet about education. I wanted so badly to find someone talking about their struggles, not just the wins. Social media has created this highlight reel, even in the classroom. I wanted a place where you could feel all the realness of a classroom from someone experiencing it for the first time. I also wanted a place to find practical, applicable resources that spoke to all the theory I was learning.

This is my way of creating a space to house all that. My stories, my thoughts, my feelings, my graphic organizers, my lesson plans, my favorite books to use in the classroom, all wrapped up into one blog.

I am still learning, as we all are, but here is where I will keep all the things I love and I cannot wait to get started.
